SUKIAKARI(soft light through paper)
… a sort of objet d’art : a paper lamp　…

                Produced by Osada Seishisho co.(handmade “ fusuma” paper mill.）
                    Fusuma:  wood-framed sliding door which is covered with thick paper 
 It has a long history for as long as thirteen generations (as far as we can trace
documentary records).
 This paper is made using a special technique “Hiryu.”
 It was created by grandfather of the present master in the late 1920s and has been
handed down through three generations.
 Beams through the paper illuminate the whole room like sunshine filtering through
foliage.  Just as how the people from the ancient times feel when they look at bonfire,
you will feel yourself as you are with this “soft light through the paper.”
 How about holding a party with this paper lamp?
